Sims 4 children and teen stuck at school but are at home can not play them.
Its happened more than once and I don't know how to fix it. HELP!
Click on the little icon on their portrait and choose Leave school early.

Im having the same problem. Sim is at home but saying at school. When i press leave school early...nothing happens?!? This is so frustrating.

Have you tried restarting the game and maybe travel somewhere ? Not sure if you can travel though. If you can't try moving the sim out and back in via household manager.

So even after moving out and back in they're still at school ? That's indeed a bit strange.
Can you try what happens if you use testingcheats and then shift-click on the Sim to age him up ? You don't have to save the game, just to see if that makes a difference.
Maybe the whole thing has something to do with your teen living alone (although that is possible, there might be issues)
