Started the sims up today and it's completely unplayable. I go into build and buy I cant place down any walls, fences, items, they get placed and then disappear. I cant get out of pause mod, then I do it completely crashes. I have no mods installed. I also have neighbourhood stories off, aging off and yet they are still moving in with random sims/marrying off/dying etc my save file has been completely ruined.
ShawneeLetsPlay As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see which of these problems are still present.
Please use fresh sims on blank or EA-made lots, nothing from the Gallery.
