im having the same exact issue currently. i never had crashing problems. i updated all my drivers and my windows, but my game cannot stay open in live mode more than 10 minutes. as i try to re-open it it keeps crashing even sooner than 10-5 minutes. i havent added anything new to my game, nor have i updated my game from the last time it was working (5 days ago). i don't know what could be causing the issue

Hi!
First a couple of things need to be known:
- Game Version
- Mods: Yes or No?
- PC Specs (GPU, CPU, RAM mainly)
- Reshade: Yes or No?
For me to make it work i did this:
- Unnistalling not repairing, and cleanning registry of Sims
- Reinstalling graphics card driver
- (Extra) Hardware tests Gpu, Cpu and Ram - you can do for yourself but i went to a store for that
- Installing the game to patch 1.115 (this one introduced a fix for the memory leak problem that patch 1.113 to 1.114 was having
- Playing the game for 1h normally and monitoring for delays, freezes and etc
- Organizing mods folder (mainly load order)
- Placing mods by bulk back into the game (first Core mods, then gameplay mods etc)
- Testing each bulk for 20-40 min depending on how my PC was handling them (Ex: RAM usage and GPU usage) - this can indicate if the memory leak is still happening
- Reinstalling Reshade (PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to this one - in the newest patch some Reshade presets do not go well with this patch. Look for info on what preset you use and the version of reshade with goes with.
- Play for 40min - 1h with all installed and monitor your resources (task manager)
After all this, even thou i ruled out my pc hardware has the problem, i still dont feel 100% confident that the game is fully stable. Honestly it really comes down to what EA did to the game in recent patches.
While the game without mods runns smoothly, with them its more unstable. I feel that the code they putted in recently is bloated and doesnt welcome changes thus it gets heavier on our hardware.
