Cheyenne827  For the inability to click anything, please delete any files in ConfigOverride, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.

For the broken event menu, does it not appear at all, or is it blank?  For the latter, please post here:

There's a workaround in the accepted solution.

If the event menu doesn't load at all, please test with no mods or custom content.
