Sims 4 crashing PC

For about two months whenever I start up Sims 4 it crashes. I've tried removing all my mods removing save files and it still crashes. I've done nothing different so I'm not sure why this is happening...

Check if your Windows is up to date

By the way, you can also check whether your system has any problems that may not have been shown in DxDiag

Darn, with a clean folder or after you put the folders back?
Could you also try a clean boot? https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

It says I'm update. Haven't had any issues with updating either. I'll try the system file checker.

okay so I did it and there were some corrupted files and they've been successfully repaired.

I'm having the exact same issue, what did you do make yours work? I've not been able to play it from the get-go, always crashes a few minutes into loading. TIA.
