Sims 4 crashing PC

For about two months whenever I start up Sims 4 it crashes. I've tried removing all my mods removing save files and it still crashes. I've done nothing different so I'm not sure why this is happening.

    Could you try and see if running the game in windowed mode might prevent the crashing? 

    In Origin right click the game and choose 'Game Properties', then go to the tab 'Advanced Launch Options' in the field under 'Command line arguments type' -w

    And click save and test the game again.

    I only ever play in windowed mode. I even tried playing in the lowest quality still crashes.

    okay so I did it and there were some corrupted files and they've been successfully repaired.

    I'm having the exact same issue, what did you do make yours work? I've not been able to play it from the get-go, always crashes a few minutes into loading. TIA.
