Sims 4 expansions

So, I have had a few problems with the game after years of it working fine. First, I got the horse extension from the EA store. It will not let me download the game; I have tried all the steps, clearing cash, the repair button, deleting, and redownloading, but it will not let me download this pack. Second, while playing my game, I tried entering the world to get famous. It won't let me =. I followed the same steps listed above. Nothing is working. This is very disappointing, and I don't know what to do.
