Sims 4 gallery issue

When I go into the gallery nothing loads and I get red X's through the boxes where the items should be. A message pops up stating that it could not find item. I can see the the name listed underneath...

  • Are you connected to the internet or is it your local library ?
  • Has it always been like that ?
