Sims 4 Get to work exp

After finally figuring out how to download it I have had a chance to play a bit.  I had a household that was made ahead of time to start with.  The "cash register" icon at the bottom  when clicked asked if I wanted to start a home business.  I clicked "Not now".   But now that I am ready I cannot figure out how to get that button back or how to get a home business started and that icon is gone.  The cash register is no longer available in buy/build mode.  I can purchase a prebuilt bakery and put it on the lot with the cash register in it...but my sim cannot interact with the register at all.
