Sims 4 Manage worlds selection greyed out

I've been deaing with this for a while now. I bought the game monday gone, and after looking online i realised there was lts onlne that i oculd download into the game. I set the gallery up and found ...

You have to start a game first. Did you do that ?

Create a Sim and then place it in the world. Then you can enter manage world.

Yeah ive had a few families and tried it with them games, but they all have said manage worlds and switch households are not available in this mode

    Can you place houses when you're in buy mode ?

    You need to be in live mode (the one you play in - where you can pause, fast forward or Warp time for your sims).

    Once you're in Live-mode, you can go to the menu (the 3 dots one) and then Manage Worlds should be available =D
