Is it possible for the Sims 4 to update in the USB drive? The Sims 4 has not reached 100% and I can not back up any more storage. @puzzlezaddict
@JennaStaAna2005 The game should be able to update while installed on the USB. It shouldn't matter where the program files are located, as long as Origin has access to them.
You can try clearing Origin's cache to stop the update, then moving Sims 4 to the USB before it starts updating.

It also might help to clear out your Downloads folder, if you haven't already.

@puzzlezaddict Sims 4 is still updating by my C drive. I have copied all my Sims 4 files into my USB drive. Should I delete all of the Sims 4 folders on my laptop so that the update could only go through the USB drive?

@JennaStaAna2005 Did you use Origin's Move Game function to move the folders, as described? Or did you just copy and paste? How to go forward from here depends on how the files were placed on the USB.

@puzzlezaddict Sims 4 is still in the process of repairing, therefore it did not give me an option to move the game. So what I did was copy and paste the folder that has all my Sims 4 data into my USB hard drive. I am very confused 🙂
