@Andyste1 Does your computer run Windows or macOS? What antivirus program do you use?
Sorry yes it's Windows and use Windows Defender a/v.

@Andyste1 I've moved your thread to the Sims 4 PC tech section.
Please try moving your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play for a bit. Let me know either way.
If the game doesn't open, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

- 5 years ago@puzzlezaddict We've just got it working. My daughter admitted to installing a cc earlier in the day. She has just removed this and the game is working again. I guess the cc was incompatible with the Paranormal pack.
