I purchased The Sims 4 on disc, I had downloaded sims 4 game time but never used it. When i went to install with my disc, it started gametime and when that run out it wont let me play now. When i put my disc in and try to play it says game time has run out please purchase the game, if i try to use my code it says its already been used. Any help/ideas please.
Anyone else had the same problem. Really not happy that i have a perfectly good game disc that is totally unusable, such a waste.
Does the full game now show up in your Origin client under myGames ?
Hi, I understand this may be a little late and you have hopefully overcome this problem yourself but I had exactly this issue. I uninstalled the game and origin at least 4 times with no further progress past the 'Gametime has run out view special offer' basically wanting you to buy another copy!
I then found, within Origin on the top left corner of the window 'Redeem Product Code' The game was already installed from disc and still displayed Origin Game Time within the title of The Sims 4.
Once I entered the code including the '-'s between is changed to The Sims 4 and updated, and now it Works!!
