Sims 4 won't launch after Growing Together

I just purchased and downloaded Growing Together, and it said the download was complete in the EA app. So I go to open Sims 4 to start playing with the new pack, but just as I open the game, I get a popup saying "Pack download in process. Your uninstalled Packs are downloading now. Press Shift+F1 to view downloads in progress with Origin In Game. You will receive a notification once the download is complete." and when I press Shift+F1 nothing happens. What do I do?

@puzzlezaddictYeah, it seems that whenever I clear the EA app's cache, the pack goes under "downloadable packs".

Searched for EP13 and this is what comes up.

@Sibilla2334  Your EP13 folder is inside the Sims 4 user folder.  Hopefully this isn't also where Sims 4 itself is installed, but I can't be sure from the screenshot.

At any rate, delete this EP13 folder, restart your computer, and without downloading anything, find the install location for the game.  Open your EA App library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > View properties, and you'll see it there:

I deleted the EP13 folder, and restarted the computer. This is my install location for the game.

@Sibilla2334  Alright, just to be on the safe side, please go into Documents > Electronic Arts and rename the Sims 4 folder inside.  Then try again to download Growing Together.  If the EA App thinks it's downloaded, open the install location in your newest screenshot and check for an EP13 folder inside.  If it's there, rename the folder inside Electronic Arts back to "The Sims 4" and see whether the pack loads properly.

It seems that there are two The Sims 4 folders, one located in a folder called Origin Games, and the other in Electronic Arts. I think all my current add-ons are in the Origin Games one. Do you know if this has anything to do with my issue?

@Sibilla2334  The Sims 4 folder in Electronic Arts holds your saves and other user data and is always going to be separate from the game's program files.  The point here is to make sure that the EA App installs Growing Together into the correct folder.  It should ignore the Sims 4 folder inside Electronic Arts, but the App can get confused sometimes, and temporarily renaming that folder ensures that the App ignores it for this purpose.
