@betharies2 You can attach a dxdiag to a post here. There's a button that says Browse (or similar) below the text field; click on it, navigate to your dxdiag, and attach it. You need to use Reply, not Quick Reply, to get the option to attach files.

@puzzlezaddict Oh ok. I'm sorry. when you said I'd need to upload the dxdiag to a third-party filesharing site, I thought you meant is was no longer working here and I'd need to upload it elsewhere.
My game finally opened again last night and I've played it several times.
Of course, I'm having to start from scratch because I had deleted everything and uninstalled and reinstalled everything several times while trying to get it to work.
I'm worried if I exit out of the game, it will not reopen again because it had opened twice before a few days ago but I had shut it down and went to bed right after and it wouldn't open again. So I have just kept everything on and logged in ever since it finally opened.
But I know I'm going to have to exit and shut my computer down again within the next day or two.
I'll do another dxdiag and submit it here soon.

@betharies2 Uploads weren't working on this site for a day or so, but they're fine again. It's interesting that deleting everything worked. If and when you do restart your computer and can't get back into the game, try moving your Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts again and see whether it helps. Your new saves won't be deleted, they'll just temporarily be inaccessible by the game.
- 5 years ago@puzzlezaddict Deleting everything didn't work. I had done that days ago and it still wasn't working. I honestly have no idea what made it suddenly start working. I was just doing the same things over and over again.

@betharies2 I have no idea either, to be honest. But if the game works now, no reason to worry.
