I wound up having to completely restore my computer after the Windows update because it was so laggy that I couldn't even browse the internet properly. I haven't put Sims 4 back or Origin back on yet. Parts of me are afraid to, but seeing all the new posts here, I might try it in a few hours when I'm back home. I was going to buy Snowy Escapes this friday anyway, would it be better to just wait and do all this then?
Before I did a system restore on my laptop, I tried one more time and still nothing. I did not try running both Origin and Sims 4 as an administrator though, so that's certainly food for thought and something I'll try when I finally do re-install. I swear, this game updates and breaks everything and it's beyond frustrating.
When I put it back on, I'll refer back to this thread and try the fixes mentioned here and I'll be sure to post here and let you know how it goes. I'm praying it resolves my issue because there were a post or two on here that sounded exactly what was happening on my end prior to removal.
God I hope this fix update they wanna put on all of us in a few days actually... yannow... fixes things for once? Is that too much to ask?
Is this update supposed to fix the issues people have been having since their last update?... Like me not being able to open my game!?
