Sims Bottom right Icons don't work
Hello!
I've tried everything to fix this, but this is my last hope at the moment. I lunched my game today and surprisingly my bottom right icons like the inventory, traits bar, etc. don't work, it will not let me click on them only the aspiration tab but other than that I cannot click and open anything else. It worked perfectly good last night and the days before that, but my game has been a bit laggy. I don't know what to do, I cannot play the game without using those icons and nothing I've done works. I have no mods or ccs just basic game play. And I don't know if it's something with the update, but my game has been fine for the last week since the update it just happened today when I logged on. I haven't changed any settings in my game menu or through my computers settings I just don't know what else to do. Can anyone help?
adaskob Thanks for the dxdiag, which lists a few BlueScreens. Are these happening while you're playing Sims 4? They'd cause a computer shutdown, of course, but you might not see the BSOD itself.
For the issue you've described, it's possible your computer has some kind of notification or other window behind the area where you can't click and is acting as if you're clicking that instead. So as a test, please put the game into windowed mode at a lower resoluton than your screen, so anything significantly lower than 2880x1920, and move the game window as far up and to the left as it will go. Then try clicking the same area of the game window.
If this works, switch the resolution back to 2880x1920, or as close as you can get, while still staying in windowed mode, and test again.
And of course if you see an actual notification on-screen while you're playing, let me know what it says.
