@Donia225 There's a recent issue where if a computer's sound output changes while Sims 4 is running, the game loses sound entirely. I'm not sure the issue is still current, given that the last post in the thread is from January, but you can take a look at if you want:

In general, closing and reopening a laptop, or putting a desktop to sleep, can have a detrimental impact on the performance of a game that's running at the time. While you might not notice if the impact is small and/or your computer is powerful enough to absorb the effects, it wouldn't be unusual for something like this to happen. It's best to quit the game entirely if you're going to be away from the laptop for long enough that you don't want to leave it open and running.

So I've found a little loop hole, I play my sims in windows instead of like full screen, I noticed that if I leave my sims window open instead of minimizing it before I close my laptop the sound does not disappear when I open it back up.
