If this doesn't help, make sure the EA and Steam accounts you're signing into are linked to each other. You can do that by signing into an EA site, for example ea.com, with your Steam credentials, then confirming you're landing in the correct account.
You don't need to install Sims 4 twice; the Steam/EA tie-in should work just fine with only the Steam version installed.
I cleared the cache and it’s still giving me the same “You don’t have access - This title may have been downloaded to your device by another user who owns the game. Log in to a different account or restart the app to try again.”
If I go to the EA library, it shows another message over the game. I’ve attached a photo of what it says.@AmeliaCrash Did you check whether this Steam account and this EA account are linked to each other, as described?
Yes, I have them linked through EA.com
