Stuck in endless loading screen after one of the last updates.

I’m having the same issue, except the game was working fine up until yesterday (so after the patch). I don’t have any mods/CC, and have all the DLC. I’m playing on PC. I’ve tried repairing the game but I still get stuck in an infinite loop, it’s so frustrating. I even tried creating a new save but I still get the loading loop. 

@rottenmeier and @tia_maximen  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

i found a hint somewhere on HQ that off-the-grid lot trait is broken at the moment.
You can't start save file with off-the grid lot trait. in life mode.

@rottenmeier  It takes ten seconds to move or rename a folder and typically less than a minute to load the game in a clean user folder.  So I'm not sure how you don't have time, especially since you had time to post on this site asking for help.

If your issue is Off the Grid, great, you can remove the trait in Build mode.  Use Load Game rather than Resume, which will take you to the Manage Worlds screen.  Otherwise, the people who help on this site do need more information than you provided in your original post.
