Not sure what you're asking.
There are many people playing Sims 3 on Windows 8. It is compatible with most Windows 8 computers. If you have issues, you should make a post in the Sims 3 forum.
You can still play Sims 3 when Sims 4 comes out but you can't transfer Sims.
If that's not what you're asking, please rephrase.
I donn't know whether this question is relevant to the original question, but I am havin no problems at all running The Sim3 on my Windows 8 system. What I wanted to know is, will the The Sims 4 be compatible with Windows 8 OS. Thankyou
PS. To get The Sims 3 running on my Windows 8 OS, I used compatability mode and also ran as administrator. Hope that helps!
