I'm having this exact same issue and it's really fustrating! The game was working fine mods cc and all. Updated it a few days ago and it's completely loss its ability to save! I spent like an hour trying to weed out which of my mods or cc files it was, assuming they were breaking the game. Then i just removed all of it so it was just base game only and that still didn't fix the problem. I repaired the game as well, no luck. Unfortunately i don't have any solutions either :/ If someone does i really wanna know! No issues before the update.
