The Sims 4 video card error

I purchased the premium version of the game, I had no issues with loading Sims 3, 2, or deluxe edition but suddenly my video card doesn't meet the minimum requirements? I'm not certain if I'm looking ...

I followed the instructions on that page, and ensured that both Origin and The Sims 4 are both using my laptop's nVidia card (GeForce GT 750M).  I even set the preferred graphics processor on the global tab to the nVidia card and rebooted.  But I still get the error message.  I've gone back and checked the settings are still applied in the nVidia control panel, and they are.  My graphics drivers are all completely updated, all Windows updates installed, game updates applied, tried a "repair" of the game, Origin has only just been installed, so that's up-to-date too.

     There's a file called config.log in your documents folder. What does that say if you open it with a text editor ?

        After getting in contact with EA Support, the cause of the problem was actually out-dated nVidia drivers.  Even though nVidia's software said it would download the drivers, it didn't actually install them.  My drivers were from 2013.  After telling it to install the new drivers, it launched without any issues.  Hopefully this is all that's wrong with other's installations.
