I purchased the premium version of the game, I had no issues with loading Sims 3, 2, or deluxe edition but suddenly my video card doesn't meet the minimum requirements? I'm not certain if I'm looking ...

{So I have the famous Graphics card issue.. which is strange because I'm using a Titan.
The file in the Sims 4 "graphicscard file" says the Titan is compatible so I don't know what is wrong, I recently upgraded to windwos 10 so maybe there lays the problem?
Edit*: I resolved the issue by restarting my computer, I noticed all my origin games gave the exact same problem, even those which worked fine before.
There was a problem created by a steam game in which it didn't recognize my Graphics card.

Can you please help me and tell me what's wrong because when I open Sims up it shows that it can;t run because of some video card in my system. I'm really upset that it doesn't work..
I haven't played Sims 4 for about two weeks, so today I updated both it and Origin and now when I go to play it comes up with the Video error. Tried all the fixes but nothings working.
whenever i startup sims 4 the screen goes blank, like monitor off blank, the only way back to desktop is the windows key.
its a really old computer (vista) but i have been told its in excellent condition and considering putting on win10. its just had a complete restore and update and im trying to put sims on for the kids.
i have uninstalled and re-installed sims 4 twice
i have disabled origin in game
iv tried to fix NVIDIA to work it but im missing the step 2 thats in the solved comment of this thread.
hope my attachments are helpful to you and you can help me. please and thankyou!!
** forgot to mention video card was working for the game before the complete restore and needed to restore thanks to ram and usb and viruses causing BSOD.

I have just upgraded the graphics card in my computer and my sims 4 device configuration says its supported but cant "Found" the card. I cant find my dxdiag ... I have been spending hours online and still am just frustrated after following all the instructions of clean reinstall of drivers windows 10 and even making sure to force the game to use the card not the chip in the computer... PLEASE i need help.
I have the NVIDIA GTX 1060 6gb graphics card now installed on my computer its the "superclocked" version and this is what my device config for sims 4 says .. any help?
This is too old and out-of-date. I have a GPU and it seems to not like it. I have NVIDIA GTX 970. I also updated my drivers. Still get the same thing. I think the game is broken when it's free from Origin Access.
If you have a dual graphics system, make sure the game runs on the card and not the chip
Uninstall and reinstall your graphics drivers
Rollback to earlier graphics dirvers
Test after each step

I was in the mood to play last night and got this error. I read through this whole thread and tried everything except an uninstall/reinstall of the TS4. None of it worked and I know my computer isn't the problem because I just built it this spring so its not outdated and TS4 worked on it a month ago.
After 3 hours of frustration last night and this morning the thing that fixed it for me after doing all that was turning off "game mode" in the win10 settings and starting the game in windowed mode on low settings. Once the game started I put the graphics back up to ultra and "windowed fullscreen". Fullscreen mode caused the error again. Don't know why but it doesn't like it.
I don't seem to have sound however but I think that's a problem with my tv or hdmi cable since I had that happen with another game yesterday.
So maybe in that list of things to do to fix it suggest starting the game in windowed mode on low graphics settings? Sometimes the fix is something small and simple.

I'm having the same problem, can someone help me? I've attached my dxdiag scan.
If you have a dual graphics system, make sure the game runs on the card and not the chip
Uninstall and reinstall your graphics drivers
Rollback to earlier graphics dirvers
Right click on the game in Origin and press repair game
Test after each step

I'm getting the same issue now and nothing in this thread has worked, although the problem didn't start until the most recent update to Origin. The game and another game that is having similar issues worked fine a week ago and are broken now.
