UI is too small and I have changed the UI scale in options.ini to 100

I had my phone sitting on my laptop while I had my Sims 4 game paused when it fell and pressed some buttons. Somehow, it changed the UI to be really small. I can’t get it back. I read on these forums to go into the options.ini file and change the uiscale to 100 of it wasn’t already like that. I exited out of the game and relaunched it. Nothing changed. I’m not sure how to get it back?

I’m running on Windows 10 on a 2016 Dell Inspiron, if that helps.

I just bought the Pets Expansion and the Get to Work Expansion but there was no issue when I had launched the game, only after my phone fell on the keyboard.

  • @carrallton  Try deleting the options.ini file entirely, letting the game generate a new one.  You'll need to reset your various options manually, but that's not too complicated.  Be sure to check the in-game resolution too—it should match your monitor's resolution or have the same aspect ratio.

If this doesn't help, you can make the UI bigger by changing its value to something lower than 100.  Try 75 and see how that looks.
