Unable to launch Sims 4 "The app timed out"

This issue has been going on for four days now. I've been trying to launch Sims 4 on my computer.(using steam) However, when the EA loading game prompt comes up it stops abruptly. Then, I get another...

    Nevermind, The reason why I was not able to launch Sims on my steam client was because on my EA app I was logged in to a different account that was not linked to steam. The way I was able to fix this was to select the steam icon on the EA Login window, and linking my steam account with EA app.

@47e89d58f6c75ea0  Please try running the EA App as an admin: right-click the desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."  Let it load fully before trying to launch Sims 4 through Steam.

If that doesn't help, uninstall the EA App itself using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and choose the Intensive scanning method.  Restart your computer before installing, and run the App installer as an admin as well.
