I don't know if you already solved it or not, but I was having this error, and none of the solutions I saw in several related posts worked. But looking into one of @puzzlezaddict's answers, where he mentioned the antivirus issue, I opened my antivirus exclusions and added the Origin folder. Voilá, the game opened seamlessly.
I hope this simple fix can help you, though Antivirus programs are very nosy around your system. Some time back, I decided to ditch my McAfee subscription, though I had it active for more than 280 days, because it was deleting files that I had whitelisted. Now I am using the best Antivirus: Windows Defender and common sense. Windows Defender properly left the entire Origin folder in peace.
