@goddessofbeauty I have two suggestions, which you can do in either order. One is to clean-uninstall and reinstall the graphics driver, as described here:

The other is to run a repair install of Windows, as described here (option two):

This shouldn't delete any of your data, but if you get to step 14 and are NOT asked to keep personal files and apps, back out and start over.
The question is why the game isn't working with this driver, which is definitely compatible with Sims 4 in general or we'd be seeing a lot more reports of this issue. It could be a faulty install of the driver, or it could be an entirely different system resource that's corrupt or missing.
