What is going on with my game???

I don't know why this is happening after the latest update, but I did try to find it in the MODS folder, and I wasn't able to find it. I wonder if it's something that's actually in the game that I can't get to. I don't know if the update screws this up with certain updates, but I do know that I haven't been able to play because of this issue. As far as I can tell from what's in my MODS folder, this thing isn't even listed there, let alone has a way of saying that it's bad. I don't know if this only happens to me, but I also hope that I'm not the only one, because I have game packs that I just recently got, and I can't even see what the in-game stuff is for those now. I feel like everytime that uninstall and reinstall everything that I have for Sims just starts out this way, and I have no idea how or why or what caused it. I don't even have it set up so that I can add or use any CC in the game yet.

  • Tiggergirl19  The folder is probably hidden due to how it's named.  The easiest way around this is to remove your entire Mods folder; start the game to create a new, empty Mods folder; then manually transfer the files and folders inside the old Mods folder to the new one, one at a time (drag and drop).  That way, the invisible folder will be left behind.

Thanks for the major help. I don't know why, but it worked.

  • Hey,

Technical game issues can be frustrating, especially when performance changes unexpectedly after updates or settings adjustments. Checking graphics options, background apps, and available system resources is often a useful starting point.
