White Screen (Any Point in Game)

So I play on my boyfriend’s PC (I’d have to go check to see what his specs are) but I’ve been having this issue with a white screen. I can get into my game, go thru CAS and getting my house set up and maybe even get some game play in. Then my screen goes white. I can still hear audio and if I click on anything/hover over options, but I have to press the little windows button (I think that’s the one, the key with the 4 squares that gets you to your little start bar?) and then click back on the sims to open it and usually my game comes back. Sometimes it freezes up the computer and I need to completely reset the computer just to do anything. If I try to pull up the task manager to close it, that freezes up the computer too. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled the game, repaired it, completely removed any CC/mods that I had and I’ve tried to clear my cashe and it still happens. Even if I try and make a completely new game it happens. And I never get it if I don’t start up a game, like I can sit and look at the gallery for a while or look thru packs no problem. I’ve read a couple posts about white screens on here but usually doing one or all of those solves the persons problems. I’ve checked to make sure my screen resolution matches up too so that’s not an issue. I’m just not sure at this point if it’s the PC or my Sims but I don’t have this issue with any other game. I’m also not the most techy person either so I’m sorry if anything I said doesn’t make sense lol
