Why hasn't my game updated?
I have The Sims 4 on PC with Origin.
It is now the 7th September in UK and my game does not show the new birthday update that was 2 days ago.
What has gone wrong?

Go to the Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "check updates"
If you weren't in the game but you had Origin turned on in the background you might not notice it.
I don't work for EA Thanks. I logged out and back in and that didn’t do anything so I just started playing the game anyway.
I think it automatically updated but didn’t show up on anything when I checked.
I just got a bit excited/impatient for the staircase!!!!
