I plan on buying a pc for just the sims 4 and imvu, with cc and 3 game packs, I have done some research but I couldn’t find much on this specific pc. The details are “CyberPowerPC Gamer Master Gaming Desktop AMD Ryzen 3 2300X 8GB Memory AMD RX 560 2GB 1TB Hard Drive” I was wondering if I could get any feedback, thanks!
@butgirlyoucute That configuration will run TS4 and all packs on high settings, but maybe not ultra, even now. As more packs are added, that graphics card will probably start to struggle a bit, especially on the highest settings. Custom content will add to the load, but how much will depend on whether you use so-called high poly cc (and how much), as in high resolution, which takes more resources to render.
If you want, I can play around with the CyberpowerPC site a bit and try to configure you something that will run everything TS4 on ultra settings, now and later. Or, I can list some good prebuit options. It sounds like you saw this particular model on a different site, since Cyberpower doesn't offer that configuration by default. (You could get it, but you could also do better.) The site itself lets you pick every part separately, from the motherboard to the case, so you don't have to settle for what's offered on other sites. It can also be more expensive, of course, but then you're getting higher quality parts for your money.
At any rate, if you post your budget and country, as well as any other requirements you have for the computer, I'd be happy to look around. Among other things, please let me know how much storage you'd want, and whether you'd like to be able to upgrade it yourself—like installing a better graphics card—at some later date, instead of buying a whole new computer.
