I haven't played these games in many years. I own both of them. The Sims Carnival: SnapCity came in a SimCity collection box with SimCity 4 & Rush Hour and SimCity Societies & Destinations as well. All 5 of these redeemed on Origin at the time and as a result I still have them in my EA App library.
The Sims Carnival: SnapCity has a very mobileesque feel to it and the graphics is nothing special. The interface and music give it more of an original Sims era vibe and a game from the early 2000s. I doubt these games will still redeem on the new EA App, as a result, a great alternative to SnapCity I would say is Concrete Jungle.
The Sims Carnival: BumperBlast on the other hand never released in a bundle or collection but I did buy it as a stand alone game however it's game code didn't redeem on Origin at the time and as a result I do not own a digital copy of it.
Which is quite a shame because I don't know of a game that gives you the exact gameplay or improves on the gameplay of BumperBlast. The closest thing I would say is either to look at other carnival style games or to look at digital bowls games. Unlike SnapCity, BumperBlast actually felt more modern it made heavy use of Sims 2 assets using the UI and music from the game so that is likely why it felt more modern and more mid 2000s.
