Bringing Classic PS2 The Sims Games to Modern Consoles
Hello, EA! 👋
I’d like to share a request that many longtime The Sims fans would definitely support.
On consoles — especially on the PlayStation 2 — we had several amazing Sims games that became unforgettable for an entire generation and are still very loved today:
• The Sims
• The Urbz: Sims in the City
• The Sims Bustin’ Out
• The Sims 2
• The Sims 2 Pets
• The Sims 2 Castaway
Recently, EA has shown interest in revisiting the franchise’s past with the ports of MySims and MySims Kingdom, as well as the recent re-release of The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 Complete Collection. This shows a clear appreciation for the history of the series — something fans truly value.
Because of that, I’d love to suggest the possibility of bringing these classic PS2 Sims games to modern consoles (PS5, Xbox, and/or Switch). A full remaster wouldn’t be necessary — just a faithful port with improved resolution, modern controller support, and localized languages would already be incredible.
These games were a big part of many people’s childhoods and remain deeply loved. Being able to play them again on current consoles would mean a lot to the community and would be a wonderful way to preserve The Sims’ legacy.
Thank you for listening to the fans and for continuing to care for such a beloved franchise 💚
