Can we talk how good the in-game music is for the series?

Whether you're in build or CAS mode, I really enjoy the music to listen to that I don't get tired of despite that I spend a huge amount of time in them, especially in Sims 4 CAS where it introduced different channels that change the music depending on where you are in the menu. This one's my favorite tune in CAS.

I've even recently installed a mod for the Sims 4 that allows music across many different games that I hadn't even played (which is pretty much all of them because I played only Sims 4 and had gone into the franchise only this year) and I hadn't been disappointed in a track, even when I could guess what tune comes from what game (The Sims 2 Uni tune pops up the most, but I first heard of it through the Retro station in Sims 4 and upon hearing it, I was like, I like this!).

This is the mod I was talking about, if any of you is interested in expanding the number of songs that can play in the modes if you want some variety while you're painstakingly constructing something whether it'd be a lot or a Sim.

Oh by the way, I'm not talking about the radio music but I think they're good in their own right, my favorite radio station in the Sims 4 is NuDisco and Electronica.

  • Definitely enjoy the music this time around. I have to say though, I've enjoyed the music since the beginning, they've always done a great job with it. It might be a little nostalgia talking, but at the time though, I do remember bopping while in CAS or build mode or on a load screen. :)
  • I fully agree. The sims series in general has great in-game musical scores, Medieval included.
A lot of the songs on the radio stations are really good and there is always a wide variety of genres available.
I’m also glad the stations often contain music by artists that are not that well known yet. It makes me look them up and admire their other work.

  • I couldn't tell you a Sims game that doesn't have great music. Everything from Sims 1 to the Urbz to Medieval has really good music.

In the Sims 4 I especially like the music that came with vampires. I got goosebumps when I first heard it.
