You could try posting in the technical area of the sims 3 forums. You might get a faster response. If Sims 3 doesn't have a technical thread here, then I would post this concern on the HQ forums under sims 3 technical issues. I'm not the best person for this and I hope somebody with more tech. experience can help you. 🙂
They already got a response, and no, there isn't currently a TS3 tech section. Additionally, on Answers HQ, Sims Medieval issues belong in Other Sims Games, not Sims 3, and downloading issues belong in the EA App forum.
I answered here because there's nowhere else to put the thread and no one else helping with these kinds of questions.
