SlimThiccKween Please try clicking alt-enter to cycle among various resolutions and fullscreen/windowed modes, and let me know whether the cursor appears at any point. If you have a full-size keyboard, be sure to test both the Enter and Return keys.
If the cursor never shows up, try disabling any apps you use that come with overlays: Discord, Steam, etc. Disable the EA App in-game overlay too, under Settings > Application.

I just installed Sims1 and I have the same issue.
The cursor will just show for few seconds if I press the CapsLk or any function button in full screen mode, or will show permanently in minimized window.

I just found a solution for the no cursor in game. When I changed my resolution to 1920x1080 and ran the game, it worked fine. My native resolution is 2560x1440.
So try changing your PC resolution.

Decreasing my screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 worked for me also.
