I want to play my old Sims 1 on windows 10 PC disk game , how do I do that?

It helps BUT like I said, I know nothing about computers.  So I get thru the install but then when it comes to the renaming part and onwards I don't know how to do any of that.  When I originally bought these games in 2001, I put them in, followed the install wizard and voila, played the game.  I am 42 years old and my knowledge of computers is very minimal.  I literally need a step by step walkthrough.  Click here, click this then this will happen, click this then that will happen.  And to be honest the lady in the video has a British accent and me being a * Canadian cannot understand some of the words she says.  Example: she said UAC and all I heard was USC, so I searched for that and nothing.  It took me like 10 minutes of watching and listening to that section of video to get what she said.  Maybe I am just going to have to give up and play the stupid Sims 4 (I hate it.)
