Is it time for Sims 5?
They've been teasing it on and off but seems like it'll never come to pass. Sims 4 is 9 years old now and looking very dated graphically, even when you factor in that they are aiming for lower-spec PCs. They stripped out some key features from previous games like the unified worlds, 3D map, collections feature (where players can make their own item groupings), rabbit holes for jobs vs just vanishing. It's an old game built on top of a cancelled MMO game.
Playing House Flipper 2, it feels visually like what Sims 5 could be though first person and minus the sims themselves. Of course, there's the issue always that EA is greedy and makes countless incredibly expensive DLC to basically sell you the game a piece at a time like a jigsaw with the pieces split between boxes they combined cost of which is eye-watering.
