Pirates and Nobles won't download (no Special Edition)

Last night I found my DVD ROM for The Sims Medieval and the expansion, including its product keys.

I had to go through a whole process for downloading the game through Origin (by validating the key for the base game on the EA website, and the key for the expansion seperatly in the Origin client.)

I have noticed the Origin client only offer the Deluxe version of the game, which causes me trouble. The seperate version of 'Pirates and Nobles' is unknown to the client, which makes it impossible to download.

I have already tried to download the game in safe mode and have already cleared my Origin cache.

Is it an option to see my two seperate downloads replaced with the Deluxe version to solve the issue? Nevertheless, I am clueless.

Please check the images for more information.

You have my thanks!

  • Hi @Kantello,

Sorry for the late reply, are you still having issues to download Pirates and nobles?

In your second screenshot it looks as if it was already downloaded and installed. If it doesn't appear in-game, then try to follow these steps:

    1. Go to your Game library (as in the first screenshot) and right click on The Sims Medieval > Show game details.
    2. In the new window that will show, locate the 'Extra content' tab, and click on it.
    3. You should find the expansion pack in there, ready to download.

Let us know if that helps!
