I'm not sure that EA ever confirmed that the Sims 4 was coming to Nintendo Switch, I know it's something players wanted/been asking for. Given the limitations of the Nintendo Switch, which has struggled to play games like Hogwarts Legacy, I can see why EA would be hesitant to port The Sims over. There's supposed to be a successor to the Nintendo Switch coming next year, it just hasn't been announced it. There's always a chance that the next-gen of Sims will come to the next-gen Nintendo system. EA did have previous Sims games on the DS and Wii back in the day.
