Please don't add any sliders or color wheels. Please.
We had 3 or 4 skintone sliders for Sims 3. If I had Sim A, who had a skintone from Slider A, get with Sim B, who had a skintone from Slider B, then their child would either come out with Sim A's color or Sim B's color - no in between. That's not better genetics to me - that's limiting.
We had the color wheel for hair. We could put in highlights etc - not a problem, that's cool. But then when it came time for the genetics, I would get all kinds of funky hair colors for offspring. Why? Because there was no controlling the color of your child's hair with a color wheel. And then, in order to change it, I would have to go in the game, write down the specific color code for the parents' hair color, put that color in...etc. That's a process. Same thing with eye color. I don't want it.
Not to mention, the potential cost in game performance.
Also, even though a lot of people on Twitter or even online may be clanging for it, there are other people besides the Twitter crowd or the extremely online crowd that the Sims team should be thinking about.
If they want to make it optional, great - put it out there as an optional download that people can pay for. Problem solved! I'll be so happy for everyone who just needs this exact shade, these exact highlights, but don't FORCE IT on the rest of us. I just want the genetics in my game to remain functional, and simple. I don't want to have to go through a process to get the right hair colors. I don't want my kids limited to 2 skin colors because their parents have colors based in different sliders.
