But I am pretty disappointed in a lot of people rn, ngl. Some of ya'lls "I wish they had focused on X instead" or "Well I hope they don't just focus on the darker skins" smacks of blatant racism and colorism.

With all due respect, that's not true. While the dark skin tones desperately need cleaning up and should be first priority, the lighter and medium skin tones could use some polish as well because there are some noticeable imperfections. And while they're looking into it now, is the time to do it because when are they ever going to visit the skins again? But they said they will clean up the skins, particularly the darker ones. Awesome. They also said we will be getting some new tones in the fall. Great! But why should they exclusively be darker skin tones? When you look in game right now, the tones that have the least amount of swatches are the medium tones. That doesn't seem very fair to those ethnicities now, does it? So why is it perfectly okay to ask for even more dark skin tones, but suddenly it's racist to ask for more dark and medium and light ones to balance the options for everyone?

It would be one thing if we didn't have hardly any dark tones to begin with, or we weren't getting any new tones at all. Then I would absolutely agree that the focus should be on cleaning up the dark tones because they never should have shipped that way in the first place. But with the announcement of new tones, it is absolutely fair to ask for an expanded selection of all shades.

And I'll even go one further...can we please get some new colorful skin tones as well for the fantasy players? Because we're still talking about a game here.
