Just remember folks, next time EA/Maxis tries to make another bull ???? "We're so progressive, dear god look at how progressive we are. We got gays, we even added Muslim stuff to the game because who else is putting Muslim stuff in their game? Exactly, because we're just so progressive!!!" video/campaign that they do every year or so or when they get into some controversy and need to look good again, just remember that for 6 years they had like two shades of skin for black Sims....and they were both hideous....AND they finally said they're only going to change it cause a couple of white girlsjumped on that same "DEAR GOD ARE WE PROGRESSIVE OR WHAT?!" traincomplained about it.
Say it again. The favoritism with these Ea game game changers has gone really irritating. Kinda ???? me off just a bit
You can call it favouritism if you want to, but it's actually one of the main purposes of the program:
"Our Game Changers receive unparalleled access to exclusive content, studio development teams, real-life events, and the opportunity to have a significant impact on our games."
Source: https://www.ea.com/game-changers - If the new skin tones are coming soon, they've been in the works since before the Game Changer videos. The videos likely prompted an early announcement, though.
- I wish they'd actually read the forums. People have been complaining about this for YEARS. It shouldn't take the game changers to fix this issue.
I'm glad they're addressing and fixing this, but they should have addressed this years ago.
Maybe they should stop relying on the Game Changers so much for feedback and actually listen to players. - InuMiroLoverNew SpectatorReal sad though that simmers of color have been bringing this up for years and it took the voices of white GCs to make something happen. REALLY says alot.
You'll have to pardon me for not jumping for joy. Im still happy to hear, but Im probably still not going to get rid of the actually decent cc skin tones Ive downloaded. - LiELFSeasoned AceI don't think people should be expecting new hair colors. If you watch the video again, you'll see that Lyndsay specifically addressed skin tones and hair styles.
She then went on to say that skin tones would be addressed in the fall, both current and new ones. This does not include hair, from my understanding of the video. - It's a shame it took so much to get even a response on the issue. They need to start interacting with the community more and taking feedback on peoples issues rather than just ignoring what people are saying most the time. Even if they just talked about the situation with certain things that players want that would make a huge difference.
It's sad that it takes the voice of big name game changers to get any response from them.
If they're working on things people really want, don't save it for a surprise release, let people know what's going on so they don't feel so ignored - SEREFRASSeasoned VeteranHow come the devs don't listen to what we want when we mention it in the forum?

Because one guru said we on the forum are toxic so our voice don't matter.
SimGuruNinja sometimes pops in from time to time. He's the only guru I've ever seen comment in the forums. And I don't think everything is "toxic" in the forums, we give constructive criticism. We all love the Sims. Plus there are plenty of happy and positive threads they could contribute towards, but they don't."LiELF;c-17611981" wrote:

well true but it really should have included hair colors
considering those are also big part of issue people have with genetics in ts4
and representing themselves in the game"Justin;c-17612035" wrote:

OK kids, I'm done. I said what I said, and you can have a tantrum about it right on this forum if you'd like.
I am playing The Sims, and enjoying it, and unlike all of you, I don't feel the need to cry about everything I don't have in the game every two seconds or spam the team on Twitter just to get what I want. I just hope that they recognize when it's a legitimate complaint, and when they can put all of you on ignore. Twitter has too much power over things right now, and it's not right for them to constantly treat it like it's the voice of every person who plays this game. That's it.
We all now by now it’s only a one way streets when it comes to this group & the consequences you may face if you don’t give in to their demands
I own all sims 4 packs. That costs nearly $700 and its climbing. Asking them not to ignore people who feel excluded, in a time where they are themselves saying that POC matter and that they will do all they can do include us, is not asking too much.
EA has nothing to lose by honoring its fan base . And the weird thing is , what do you have to lose by POC being listened to?
