Sims Medieval and Windows 10

Hi, I have disk versions of both Sims Medieval and its expansion and both were purchased at release. The game runs on my Windows 7 desktop but I tried installing them on my new Windows 10 laptop and ...

The game doesn't freeze up on my PC. I run it on resolution 1920 X 1080.
