@Strodering Please check that you installed the CC in Library/Application Support/Aspyr/The Sims 2/Downloads and that CC is enabled. When you're in-game, go to Game Options and click the CC star icon under Display Custom Content Dialog at Startup. The popup that shows up should have an option to Enable Custom Content. Back in Game Options, make sure that Catalogs Display Custom Content is also enabled.
If you've done all this and nothing changes, please also check that the CC you downloaded does not require FreeTime or Apartment Life packs because those are not included in Super Collection.
Hi there, i do have CC Enabled, and yes i double-checked and it does not require apartament life or freetime, Yet, it still doesn't work.
@Strodering , can you send us a screenshot of where your downloads folder is?
Sure, is this good enough?
- mate544 years agoHero+@Strodering Please try using this folder for installing CC:
~/Library/Application Support/Aspyr/The Sims 2 I tried using that folder, yet it didn't work and just for clarification other mods like objects worked, what im trying to install is clothing. Which aren't working for some reason
Nevermind, it worked now, thanks so much!
Hm, only one mod appears to be working though. What could be causing the issue?
@Strodering , CC not compatible with the EPs/SPs Super Collection supports. So Super Collection includes all EPs from Base Game to Bon Voyage and three Stuff Packs (Family Fun Stuff, Glamour Life and Happy Holidays). Also, the mod may not be the most current version by that creator. Again, make sure it supports the content from Super Collection. Another thing is you could have more than 2GB to 4GB worth of CC. Try to keep the amount of CC to around 2GB.
Oh, it's working, Thank you so much! I will update this if they stop working...Still thank you so much!
