The sims in sims 4 that seem popular that (I think) are new to the series are:
The Pancakes - almost as iconic as the goths. Everyone hates Eliza and everyone loves Bob. They also seem to have a son izzy. They are always in trailers too.
Vlad - he is one of the most popular ones out of all of them.

Makoa kealoha - I've seen a lot of people gush about his looks lol.

The Bailey-moons - They just seem to be an interesting couple and a lot of people seem to like them
Knox greenburg - He is a unique looking sim and he is also in Sims mobile
Michael bell - He's just an interesting little hobbit/non-hobbit
