26th August 2024 - ‘That's Simoré!’ Update

What's new?

Sul Sul! In Update 101 we're going to the Mediterranean. Imagine an Amalfi-inspired villa, the smell of woodfire pizza ovens, and an adorable granny (Nonna) with a secret recipe. That's Simoré! 

New Inbox

 

We've added new functionality to the Inbox! Not only does the new Inbox tell you what your Sims have been up to while you're gone, but it will also include messages directly from The Sims FreePlay™ team!

 

To access the Inbox, tap on the mail icon on the bottom right of the screen.

SimChase ‘Nonna’s Kitchen’

Oh, poor Nonna. She lost her rolling pin.
That’s where you come in!

Beat Nonna in the race to find her rolling pin and help put her mind at rest.you better believe you will be well rewarded for your kindness.

Complete the event to earn kitchen items like the woodfire pizza oven, outfits for Nonna, the new pizza-making action, and finally, Nonna’s rolling pin. 



Influence Island ‘Petal to the Metal’

 

Can your Sim beat Florence Vann in the fierce fight to claim ownership of the flower cart? Only one way to find out!

Earn items like a flower cart, a slew of pretty Mediterranean build and decor items, outfits, and more.

 

Live Event ‘Spice of Italy’

 

A large part of what makes Italian cuisine so delizioso is its use of herbs and spices.

Play the Live Event ‘Spice of Italy’ to build a dream Amalfi-themed mansion with a private herb garden. Nonna would love to cook with home-grown ingredients!

    Since this update, my day spa sims cannot do any work tasks when sent to work. Press a task and they stand in front and say they can’t get inside the spa. They also cannot not step inside the spa if you direct them to go inside. They only stand outside the spa. Help!

    Just got the update on 08/31. Since this update, my Sims are stuck outside the plot and when starting Simchase Nonnas Kitchen, my rival immediately reached the first episode goal and is now always one episode goal ahead of me, so I can't catch up. This update is no fun. :-(

    I assume you mean 31st of August since a year does not have 31 months

    95% of the world have the day first if the year is omitted, and the month in the middle if the year is included, when stating a date numerically

    On international sites like this, it is recommended to spell out the month in letters to avoid confusion

    If your sims are stuck outside the house boarders, call them away ex to the park

    Do not send them home

    Go to the home and then call them home

    Report it to support and while you are there you might want to ask for compensation

    There was no in-game notification for me so I found out about this update yesterday. I have only 5 days to complete this event.

    i am very annoyed. I’ve been playing this game for several years but less and less lately due to the many glitches.

    customer service is a joke.
