Issues with Workstations

This bug is so frustrating that I just have to write about it. Yes, even a "Hero" struggles with ingame glitches.

I couldn't win the last challenge, and it’s turning into a total disaster. Apparently, I’ve hit the limit for the candle station and all other station reached, which simply isn't true.

I moved all the stations into inventory , restarted the game, and bought them all again—yes, I actually had to buy them. I cleared everything out, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, yet the workstations still aren't working... Well, now I’m playing with the handbrake on. Instead of 4-3, I'm getting 3-2, and so on...

Does anyone have any ideas about this issues?
