Ok..idk why my dumb self has never thought of this but I need neighbors. Please DM me your username and I'll do the same. Would be nice to have real neighbors so I can those silly neighbor quests! :)

Sure! You can add friends through that app. It’s just that those friends don’t show up as neighbors on the Party Boat.
iOS players have the same issue with Game Center: friends yes, neighbors no.

Sadly, we can’t have neighbors via Google play anymore. But if you don’t want a Facebook account for visiting neighbors, you can complete nearly all social tasks in Another Sim Town.
edit: Cancelled “editing” neighbors and set “visiting” neighbors. Sorry 🙈
